New Orleans, LA (April 29, 2020) — A woman died Tuesday night after crashing her car on I-610 in Gentilly. The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. near Franklin Avenue.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the driver of the car, who has not yet been identified, was heading west on I-610 when she struck a guardrail and flipped her car. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
