San Antonio, TX (April 25, 2020) — A motorcyclist is dead following a seven-car pileup in San Antonio on Saturday. The accident happened near the intersection of Southwest Military Drive and Norma Street.

According to police, an unidentified driver made an abrupt stop while heading west on Southwest Military Drive. The immediate stop caused six vehicles behind the driver to run into each other. One of the drivers involved, 38-year-old motorcyclist Michael Guerra, died at the scene of the accident.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. No further information has been released about the accident. Investigators state that they are trying to determine what caused the first driver to abruptly stop in the middle of the road.
