Tony Hernandez possesses considerable experience and unique expertise that makes him an invaluable asset to any legal or legislative effort. Tony has zealously represented a broad range of clients in legal, legislative, regulatory, and political affairs.

Prior to joining BFH Law Group Tony spent more than a decade working closely with the Texas Legislature in developing the laws governing insurance disputes in Texas as well as programs to assist victims of natural disasters. This experience gives him a unique insight and perspective to ensure his clients effectively access all avenues for recovery.

While at Tulane Law School, Tony clerked in the Texas Supreme Court, the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Texas Attorney General’s Office.

Tony is a graduate of Tulane University Law School and Saint Edward’s University. He has attended Cambridge University School of Law and Australia National University, where he also clerked in the Australian Parliament.

When he isn’t zealously fighting for his clients, Tony passes his time playing basketball, swimming, and kayaking through the copious Texas parks.

Tony is licensed to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. He is an active member of the New Orleans Bar Association and the Federalist Society.
