Harvey, LA (June 20, 2020) — A woman died Saturday morning after crashing into a tree in Jefferson Parish. The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Destrehan Avenue and Lapalco Boulevard.
According to Sheriff Joseph Lopinto of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, a woman was driving on Destrehan Avenue when she hit a tree and was ejected from her vehicle. The woman, who hasn’t been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The JSPO is still investigating the cause of the crash. So far, no other information has been provided about the driver.
