New Orleans, LA (February 16, 2020) – A two-car crash on Airline Highway left one person dead and another injured Sunday night. The accident occurred at the intersection of Airline Highway and Williams Boulevard at around 8:30 p.m.

The Kenner Police Department states that 28-year-old Kevin Nguyen, a TSA agent, was driving south on Williams Boulevard when another car traveling west on Airline Highway ran a red light. Nguyen’s car was “T-boned” and landed on a nearby median. Nguyen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Toxicology reports are still pending and the Kenner Police Department is still investigating the accident.
