New Orleans, LA (March 19, 2020) – A motorcyclist died Thursday night after being hit by another vehicle. The accident happened around 5:20 p.m. in the Central City neighborhood at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Magnolia Street.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the motorcyclist, whose name hasn’t been released, was traveling at a high speed when he got hit by a car crossing the intersection. They weren’t wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital, who later died from their injuries. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators and charges aren’t pending at this time.
