Fort Worth, TX (May 21, 2020) – Fort Worth Police have identified the victim of a six-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler that happened on Sunday evening. The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the 14900 block of Texas 183.

According to police, a driver pulled over to fix a flat tire on their vehicle when they were struck by four other vehicles and an 18-wheeler. The person killed in the pileup was identified as 61-year-old Armando Salgado.

Initially, police reported that a driver had fled the scene of the fatal accident, but then confirmed on Thursday that every motorist involved stayed at the scene.

Police have not released any more details about the accident, and investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
