Vidor, TX (May 30, 2020) — A 55-year-old man died Saturday evening after being involved in a single-car accident near Vidor. The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on Highway 105 near Alpine Street.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and Vidor Police Department said in a news release that 55-year-old Ramond Thomas Henry from Bridge City was driving his 2010 Ford Mustang down the highway. Henry was traveling at around 105 miles per hour when he lost control of the vehicle at a curve. The car first struck a concrete culvert and then rolled over several times before it finally hit a tree and came to a stop. 

Henry was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene of the accident. Police are still investigating the crash and have not released any additional information.
